Item Description :
This is a vintage Japanese pottery vase of Iga Ware, which was made
about 50 years ago.
This vase was fired with a lot of firewoods in a hole-kiln for 5 days. Many natural ash glazes are attached. It's very artistic.
Iga ware has been made in Mie prefecture, Japan. It is very similar with Shigaraki ware, as the both locations are very close, and use the same pottery clay
.
