Vtg Art Deco Red & Clear Rhinestone Starburst & Dangles Necklace & Clip Earrings

This excellent rhodium-plated Art Deco rhinestone set is unmarked but well made. This set appears to have hardly been worn. I don’t see a single discolored rhinestone, and all rhinestones are prong set. The rhodium plating shows no rubbed areas. Hinge clip earrings were introduced in the 30s, but considering the estate and research, I’m thinking anywhere from 1940s through the 1960s.
The necklace measures 16” and attaches with a hook. The attached pendant adds another 3”. The two main red rhinestones on the necklace are radiant cut: smallest is 15mm and the larger stone is 18mm. I didn’t remove them to measure. The earrings both have a red radiant stone that measures 15mm. There are six red round rhinestones that measure 5mm. The small clear round rhinestones are 2mm. The earrings are 2 1/2” long from top tip to the lowest dangle. They stay on really well but don’t hurt the ears.
This is an amazing set on and would get many compliments and comments wherever it is worn.
