Vintage/Antique Asian Japanese/Chinese? Cloisonné Enamel Vase & Carved Wood Base

I’m unsure of age and origin on these pieces. I am also not sure if the base originally went with the vase or was later paired with it. The base measures approximately 4.5” tall and the base measures approximately 2.5” x 1.25”. The wooden base has faint writing on the bottom.
