    Description

Vintage Navajo Coverlet, Blanket, Rug "Dazzler"
Vintage mid-century Navajo hand woven geometric designed rug
/blanket called a "dazzler". It measures 56"x81", date unknown.
This is a cotton and wool reversible coverlet. The base color is gray and the bright colors give it its name. There is fringe on top and bottom; on one end it is coming apart, along with some of the weaving. I took pictures of all the stains/defects I could spot. I took pictures of both sides (the 4 first pictures are one side, the 8 remaining are the other side). It is of medium thickness and weights 3Lb 15oz.
    It is said that e
ach rug is woven to include one small flaw in the final product in order that any evil spirits residing in the rug may have a way of escape.
This coverlet has not been cleaned but is in pretty good condition.
This item is previously owned, it has some damage to the edges, minor unravelling, and a few slight dingy
marks (possibly can be cleaned). Please view all photos for the most accurate description.
Pictures are of actual item you will receive.
