    Description

    Denver & Rio Grande Western Prospector pattern 1981 reproduction plate produced by the Intermountain Chapter of the National Railway Historic Society. There were 750 pieces made for the chapter that reproduced the 1940 original by Syracuse China. The pattern was to celebrate the original two-car trains produced by the Budd Company. Unfortunately the trains weren’t successful and were removed from service with a couple of years. This is a very distinctive pattern and the 9” diameter piece is in great condition and a perfect example for a Rio Grande collection.
