Offered today is a Wente Bros. Dry Sauterne wine bottle (empty) from the Santa Fe Railroad. It is dated 1954 and is 2" wide by 7 1/2" tall. It has the full label on it and it is stamped "Bottled Expressly For THE SANTA FE RAILWAY Fred Harvey Service". The bottle is embossed "2/5 PINT". The bottom of the bottle is embossed "545 WP" and the number "20". The label has a few wrinkles and and a few scuffs but is intact with a farmland and vineyard scene. There is some dried wine residue inside the bottle, so overall I would consider condition as very good with no chips or cracks in the bottle.
