Hand Knit Fishermen’s Wool Socks made in New England

Hand Knit Fishermen's Wool Socks ---- these socks are heelless (like a tube sock) but they do have a seam. Wear them with your boots or they also make a great sleep or lounge sock as they are bulky knit. They measure 18 inches long and will stretch to fit almost any size leg. I have given these socks as gifts to people in nursing homes and who are disabled because they are non-restrictive on their feet and comfortable to be worn all night. This pair of socks is 78% wool, 13% acrylic, 9% rayon. They are hand wash, lay flat to dry. Please follow care instructions included with the socks. Color is "Birch Tweed".
Fishermen's Wool yarn is made with Pure Virgin Wool which contains lanolin that makes garments water resistant in cold damp weather. It's perfect for an article which will remain wearable even when damp.
