AGE : 1868-1912 (It is Japanese Meiji Period).
This is the old original. This is never an imitation.
MATERIAL : Colored porcelain of Kutani-yaki of AOTE KUTANI style.
KUTANI-yaki is the general term for colored porcelain produced in the vicinity of the Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Origin is a 17th century. They were trained under the guidance of the ceramicist of Imari-Yaki. But it was closed down in the early 18th century suddenly. It was revived in the 19th century. And to the present. The characteristics of the color and painting style is different for each age.
AOTE KUTANI is bluish KUTANI when it is translated literally. Actually it is green glaze rather than blue. It is a representative style of KO-KUTANI(really old KUTANI) baked around the 17th century. The porcelain with red painting is the characteristic of KUTANI. The style of unique AOTE KUTANI different from that is loved by many people.
