AGE : 1868-1912 (It is Japanese Meiji Period).
This is the old original. This is never an imitation.
MATERIAL : Porcelain of Satsuma-yaki.
SATSUMA-yaki is a traditional pottery of Kagoshima Prefecture of Japan. The history is old. It is the late 16th century. They dedicated pottery to feudal lord mainly at that time. Therefore, the work of Satsuma-yaki is delicate and gorgeous. They exported products to the world around the Meiji from the end of the Edo period. The work of that period is really fantastic. The world was fascinated by it.
