  • Condition: Excellent condition, no cracks, hairlines, or chips. I do feel two areas which I believe are underglazed. The first is at about the 1 o'clock position just into the floor of the plate and about 2" long The second is about an inch long at the 7 o'clock position about 1 1/2" into the floor. I could not get either to show up in a photo and only show up with the light at just the correct angle or by touch. Neither detracts from the display of this piece

    Description

    This piece was made by Sovereign Pottery per the backstamp.  This piece though rather plain, is really nice and displays well. It is a duplicate in our collection and offered for sale to make room for additional pieces. Within the crest is the statement "Dining Car Service."
