Antique large and rare Antique Japanese Satsuma wine ewer/pot,Kyoto- ware wine pot. It is made in the shape of a Dragon. Hand molded and painted in light brown colors. The original stopper Has a Foo Dog on top and the Shimazu Mon.We find On the base it has in red Japanese letters that wishes the owner of this wine ewer "A LARGE SUN AND AN ENDURING SPRING" The ewer is circa 1900,MEIJI period, It measures approximately: 11&1/2 inches, 29 centimeters - tall.
