    Description

    You are bidding on an antique original circa 1900 Navajo Germantown Wool hand woven fringed pouch or bag measuring 12" x 7".  One side has a large central cream diamond with concentric black, purple and segmented green and red center against a red field; the other a stepped cross motif in cream and red with a purple square center
    .  Both sides are banded at the top and the bottom which are adorned with multicolor looped fringe.
    In good overall condition.  Selvage is complete and tight all around and the fringe is intact with minimal breakage.  There are a few small moth nibbles on both sides, more noticeable on the red one.  Fairly clean, no stains or excessive soiling, no foul odors.  Both sides are bright, vibrant, and display extremely well.  Please study the photos as they are part of the description.  Offered here fresh out of a Santa Fe estate for the first time.  Payment in full is expected within 48 hours after auction closes.  Free local pick up in Santa Fe.  Shipping cost includes signature confirmation.  I pack and ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  No returns unless item is grossly misrepresented.
