Original/current US Army Flag Regulation Issue Unit Colors (Unit Flag) streamer.
Size is 48 x 2 3/4 inches. This size is for the, Army Flag.
Indian Wars.
Red with two Black stripes, yellow embroidery.  Medal grommet.
Listing is for Seminoles 1817-1818,1835-1842,1855-1858.

The current US Army streamer system dates back to 1920ish.  This is a living breathing system for unit recognition.  The list of Campaigns has been updated multiple times to include new honors over the many years since initial implementation.  None of the streamers authorized before 2001 are actually period to the time of award.  Hope this helps explain the idea of original/current.  In the sense that these are government contract made to all regulation specs, by government approved companies, so original US Army but not original to time period.
